BYU: The Lab

I don't have any specific exciting memory of our time working together in Dr. Woodbury's lab at BYU, but what I do remember is your attitude about working in the lab. So many students came and went while I worked there. Many were just putting in time to get research cred to get into med school or something. But a few actually cared about what was going on and really worked hard at it. You were one of those. I remember it wasn't easy and was frustrating at times. There were times I was so frustrated by all the problems we were encountering, but working side-by-side with you and Jeremy made it much easier to deal with. You had a good attitude and put a lot of effort into making things work. You were also a good friend. I value the time we spent working together. I wish you the best and hope for a recovery. My heart goes out to you and your family.

P.S. I also thought it was crazy when I met my cousin's new husband (Eddie) at their wedding and it turned out you were old friends. Small world.
