What would happen if we all spent a few minutes imagining and feeling what it would be like if you were healed miraculously and then braced ourselves for a literal fulfillment of the same? Would this be a righteous use of our faith? I think it would be. That's what I'm going to do right now. I'm going to imagine you living a long happy and fruitful life with your family in the body you have now - only much healthier, of course.
You and Lori must be so tired. We know that death is not the end and that it can even be sweet at times, as we look forward to an eternity together. Of course it is important to be meek and humble and accept the Lord's will. Is the fact that so many have fasted and prayed for your recovery seemingly in vain proof that your mortal probation is coming to an end? Perhaps not. I see you and Lori attending the Payson temple together in body AND spirit, in full vitality, having cheated that rascal we call death. (If anyone cares to join me, please do!)
Thanks for being such a wonderful home teacher. Your dedicated service taught me that preparing to die and preparing to live are really the same thing!

I guess it wasn't to be. Lori, may the Lord, his angels and Wes be with you, Lucy and Spencer continually in remarkable ways until you're together again physically. -Joseph, Catherine, Seymour and Daisy Price
