Way back in high school, my friends and I would venture from our East side neighborhood to the West side nearly every weekend so that we could spend time with Wes and his friends. It was almost like our weekly ritual. My memories of these weekends are all jumbled together and while one specific memory doesn't stand out, an overall feeling of nostalgia remains. We had a lot of fun going to movies, playing games, hanging out, and just laughing. If I had to describe the Wes I knew back then, I would describe him as always smiling and always a gentleman and, based on the other posts, he hasn't changed much over the years. He was a great example to me and I can't think of a better way to have spent those weekends so long ago.
